Non-Toxic Living Plan

 

It’s time to create your non-toxic living plan! Take charge and decide the first steps you’ll take to get unwanted toxins and chemicals out of your life. This plan will support your detox journey over the next four weeks. We recommend setting aside time at the end of each month to reflect on your experience, celebrate your successes, and plan for the next month. Keep in mind there’s no right or wrong way to approach this. You may move on to a new area each month or explore the same area over several months.

Choose one area of your life to detox over the next month. It might be one of the four areas—nutrition, beauty, home, and mind—or it might be another area, such as relationships, sleep habits, personal finances, schedule, etc.

Now, choose one action step or tip to explore each week.

• Consider how much time you have to invest in this daily. Keeping your action steps small may be more sustainable – remember, small steps add up over time!

• Consider what prep work you will need to facilitate each step.

• Identify when you’ll take action in your schedule – for example, a few minutes each morning or evening. It may be helpful to add reminders to your calendar.

At the end of the month, set aside a few minutes to reflect on your detox journey and plan for the next month. Consider the following:

• What successes do you have to celebrate from the month?

• What challenges came up?

• Are there any action steps you’d like to revisit in the month ahead?

• Do you feel ready to move forward in detoxing a new area this month, or will you continue to explore the same area again?

Begin living toxin-free today, even if that means swapping out one chemical-filled personal care product.
